Things to know before you get started:
- SIXSTAR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR 2026 ARE NOW CLOSED. Applications for 2027 can be submitted from April 2026. The close-off date for 2027 applications will be Friday 16th October 2026. Applications will be reviewed for completeness, and all complete applications will be submitted to our Trustees in November 2026 for consideration. Their decisions will be communicated to applicants in December 2026.
- We require that documentation is submitted in PDF format with your online application; paper based documentation will be returned to you to upload via the website portal.
- To be eligible you must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. You will need to provide a copy of
- Birth Certificate
- AND New Zealand Passport or Permanent Residence Visa
- You can only apply for one scholarship at any one time, but you are not eligible if you have already commenced studies
- You'll need to supply copies of your qualifications and a photo of yourself - so you may want to have these handy.
- Submit your application once you have completed all sections of the application form.
